2004 YEAR OF THE MONKEY 1/2oz SILVER PROOF

This is a brilliant coin that has been brought out by The Perth Mint to
celebrate the Year of the Monkey. Part of the Australian Lunar Silver
Coin Series, this ½oz coin is made from 99.9% pure silver and is in a
proof quality. This 2004 dated coin features a monkey sitting on a tree
branch and the Chinese character for 'monkey'. The design also
includes a border of five bats among the clouds, symbolizing health,
peace and prosperity. The obverse of the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley
effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
If you were born in 1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968 1980 or 1992, then the
Chinese believe that the monkey will have a profound effect on
