SHIPS THAT MADE AUSTRALIA SET OF 5

This is a magnificent set of coins called 'The Ships That Made Australia'.
The set comprises of five 2oz coins, minted by The Perth Mint from
99.9% pure silver under the authority of the Government of the Cook
Islands. Each of the coins has been beautifully sculpted in silver and
has been finished with an antique treatment. Five ships have been used
for the designs and they are the SS Sofia Jane, Scottish Bard, Cutty
Sark, HMAS Sirius and the 18ft Skiff. Each of the designs is quite stunning
as they show each of the ships in sail, along with the ships name and
title of the series, "The Ships That Made Australia'. The
obverse of the coins shows the Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen
Elizabeth II. These coins have a monetary denomination of $5 and
there was a limited mintage set on these coins of 5000 sets worldwide.
Each set comes to you housed in a wooden display case along with
accompanying numbered Certificate of Authenticity. A set of coins that
would be pride of place in any collection, or for those who enjoy the
history of the ships.
