AUSTRALIAN COINAGE OF
KING GEORGE V 1911-1936

This is a beautifully presented collection of pre decimal coins that were
released during King George V's reign, 1953 - 1964. King George V
acceded to the throne in 1910, following the death of King Edward VII.
The first Australian coins with his portrait are dated 1911, which also
included a copper halfpenny and penny for the first time.
These coins come to you in a presentation folder with some information
about King George VII and the coins themselves. Containing six coins
in total, the set includes a Halfpenny and Penny minted between 1911 -
1936, a Threepence minted between 1911 - 1936 (except 1913, 1929-
33), a Sixpence minted between 1911 - 1936 (excluding 1913, 1915, 1929-
33), a Shilling minted between 1911 - 1936 (except 1919, 1923,
1929-30, 1932) and a Florin minted between 1911 - 1936 (excluding
1920, 1929-30). Each features the obverse design by Sir Edgar
Mackennal. This is an excellent way to collect pre decimal coins in a
brilliantly displayed folder.
