SIR DONALD BRADMAN BI-METAL PROOF COIN

This special commemorative bi metal proof like coin has been released to
celebrate the life of Sir Donald Bradman, Australia's greatest cricketing
hero. His legendary achievements on the sports field still stand far
ahead of those of the many champions since, and his integrity and
grace off the field have likewise seldom been matched. His life has
been and remains a role model and inspiration for countless people
across the board from around the world, sports people to world leaders
in politics and business.
The coin has been minted and inspected by The Perth Mint and has been
issued in association with the Royal Australian Mint and the Bradman
Foundation, to honor both Sir Donald's historic sporting achievements
and his lasting contribution to Australian culture and values.
A 99.9% fine silver border incorporating the lettering 'Sir Donald Bradman
1908-2001' surrounds the fine gold centerpiece, which bears the image
of a smiling Bradman wearing the famous baggy green cap of the
Australian Cricket Team in 1931-1932.
The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II appears on
the obverse of the coin, along with the wording 'Elizabeth II Australia
2001 20 dollars'. The coin comes to you complete in a green leatherette
presentation case and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
The Perth Mint will issue no more than 10000 proof like coins.
Royalties from the sale of the coins will go towards the Bradman
